The Dance Shop of Ireland was founded in 2016, inspired by a clear gap in the south-east of Ireland for a dedicated dancewear retailer. When Lisa Pierce had her children first begin ballet classes, it became evident how difficult it was to source properly fitted uniforms and ballet shoes locally.

With a background in dance, the Lisa understands that correctly fitted shoes and appropriate uniforms are an essential part of any ballet class. This knowledge shaped the vision for a shop that prioritises both quality and fit.

Working with trusted brands such as Bloch, 1st Position, and Merlet, The Dance Shop of Ireland offers a carefully selected range of high-quality, affordable ballet uniforms and accessories.

Lisa Pierce has also completed an intensive pointe shoe fitting course in Birmingham. In 2020, pointe shoes were introduced to the shop’s offering, with a wide selection now available from Bloch and Merlet. Professional pointe shoe fittings can be booked via the appointment page.
